Guidance
At the JEC High School, students benefit from a caring, compassionate, and fully integrated Guidance Department. Our licensed psychologist and team of highly trained advisors work with all students to ensure their wellbeing and to help them develop socially and emotionally.
Through our comprehensive health curriculum, students develop strength of character, are empowered to make good choices at school, at home, and in life. Our guidance staff ensures that students have professionals they know and trust to help them along their journey. They develop social-emotional skills, confront and work through challenges, learn to recognize and avoid risky behaviors, and seek help in a safe and supportive environment.
Our incredible guidance team also works with parents, educators, the school administration, and independent mental-health professionals to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive.
